BCPS Homework Helpers

Taped “Math Homework Helpers Shorts” can be viewed on Schoology, YouTube, Vimeo, and on BCPS-TV channels Verizon 34/ Comcast 73. The “shorts” are math lessons aligned with the elementary math curriculum.

                 Seneca Summer Camp

We are excited to offer a fun learning opportunity for your child this summer!

DATES*: July 10-August 4 (*attendance for all four weeks is not required)

GRADES: All students in grades Pre-K K, 1, 2, 3, and 4

TIMES: 9:00am-1:00pm* (*this time may change slightly)

TOPICS: STEM, Social Emotional learning, Reading and Math

This special FREE summer program is open to all current kindergarten through fifth grade students! Seats are limited and will be filled in the order responses are received. To reserve your child’s seat, please reach out to Ms. Goetschius at [email protected]

Seneca Elementary School's mission is to provide a high quality education that will empower all students to become life-long learners, independent thinkers, and productive citizens. We will provide a rigorous learning environment in which all students are motivated and challenged to reach their highest potential. Our staff and community members are dedicated to working collaboratively for the benefit of all students.

The success of  Seneca Elementary School is attributed to the team work of the staff, students, and parents. Seneca is supported by an active and strong Parent Teacher Association. Our PTA members support all initiatives, volunteer countless hours, and help us provide a nurturing and engaging school environment for our students. 
 

Recent News:

  1. Masks are optional except for person returning after infection who need to mask through day 10. EXCEPTION: If the person recovering from infection tests on day 5 or later and the test is negative, they can stop wearing the mask.  
  1. Quarantine - People with recent close contact with a person with COVID may continue to come to school, regardless of their vaccine status. They should watch themselves for symptoms, stay home and test if they have symptoms, and are encouraged to mask for 10 days after exposure and to test at 5 days after exposure.
